Welcome to class 2W where you can read all about the exciting and wonderful things that we have been doing in school. We have already had a busy and fun packed start to the school year.

Safety Day

In September we had a special day to learn about staying safe. We had a visit from some firemen to learn about fire safety. We did activities in our classroom to help us learn about how to stay safe on the road and how to keep ourselves safe on the computer. We created some special class rules for e-safety.

Eid Party

On Friday 18th October we celebrated Eid with a whole school Eid Party. We came to school in our special Eid Clothes. We enjoyed a delicious Eid meal and had party games and dancing in the hall. Lots of fun was had by all.

Maths Puzzle Day

2W took part in maths puzzle day on Wednesday 23rd October. We worked in teams on different problem solving activities.

Remembrance Day Assembly

We learnt all about remembrance day in class.

Trip To The Symphony Hall

Year Two were lucky enough to attend a schools concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall. We had a super time listening to the very talented children at schools from around Birmingham. We also learnt about different musical instruments and the sounds that they make.

Life Education Caravan

2W enjoyed their visit to the life education caravan. We met Harold the giraffe and his friends, who taught us all about how to be healthy as well as being kind to others and making the right choices.
