Change 4 life Club
Change 4 Life Club has started Spring 2 (2019)
If you would like your child to learn about health and wellbeing as well as join in some FUN physical activity games. Please see Mrs Bull for a letter...
Here is an example of an activity that we play:
Rob the nest - collect all the items from the nest one at a time in your teams. The winner is the team with the most treasure.
Change 4 Life Club
This club assists in meeting the Government's plans for childhood obesity and the ambition to have all young people active for at least 60 minutes every day.
Childhood Obesity Plan 2016
The Government's plan to reduce the rates of childhood obesity in England in the next 10 years was released in August 2016. The plan includes an ambition that all children will take part in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day and that primary schools will contribute at least 30 minutes of this activity across the school day for every pupil. Change4Life Sports Clubs can help schools meet this target as a targeted club for the least active pupils.
Fun things to do at home
Please look at the Change 4 Life webpage for ideas on eating healthy, recipes and fun ways to exercise on your own or with your family at home or even in the swimming pool.
Download the 'Sugar Smart' app on your smart phone for free and start scanning the barcodes on your food packaging at the shops, to reveal the number of sugar cubes in your everyday food. You'll be suprised just how many there are!
The Change 4 Life Club is on a Monday after school. We will be starting again in September. Letters will be sent out inviting children to the club when we come back to school in September. For more information about Change 4 Life and the club please contact Mr Stevens
