Parent Volunteer

Are you a passionate parent who is looking for a friendly school to volunteer at? Leigh Primary School has an exciting opportunity for parents to join our amazing team. As a parent volunteer, there will be a range of opportunities to:

• Listen to children read
• Support outdoor learning with younger children
• Help staff with fundraising
• Support with trips (if able to do so)
• Support stay & play/ baby & toddler groups

We pride ourselves on being a ‘happy, warm and welcoming school’ (Ofsted November 2021) with the children at the heart of everything we do. We have high expectations and a culture of learning built on trust and support.

Successful applicants will be vetted in line with the Trust’s safer recruitment process, including an enhanced DBS check.
