Welcome to Class 6F!

Hello and welcome to our class page.

This is the place where you can learn all about the fantastic and exciting things that we have been doing so far this year.  We have had a very busy and enjoyable beginning to the Autumn term and the children have been working extremely hard.

So far this year, the majority of our work has been based around our topic- World War II.

We started off the year with a trip to Weston Park to learn all about how children were affected during the World War.

Weston Park trip- Thursday 17th September 2015

Safety day- 18th September 2015- We looked at all aspects of Fire, Road and Internet safety, we had a lot of fun that day! Especially practising 'Stop, drop and roll!'

Eid Party- Monday 28th September 2015- We started off with a delicious meal and then had party games and dancing! We had so much fun!

Computing during Autumn term- We made World War II propaganda videos using the iPads and edited them ourselves!

Children In Need Friday 13th November 2015- we researched Children In Need and wrote reports and then designed Pudsey a new outfit inspired by 50's fashion!

Design Technology- We looked at different types of shelters and then designed and made our own Anderson Shelters, they look amazing!

Friendship Day- 18th November 2015 On this day we considered what makes a good friend, wrote poems to encapsulate our views on friendship, learned what peer pressure is and how we could avoid it and finally, we designed our own anti-bullying leaflets for a competition. We sure learnt a lot!
