This week in Nursery we have started our new topic 'Are Eggs Alive?' We had eggs delivered to Nursery on Tuesday we have been watching them to and guessing what might be inside!
Nursery role play area has changed, the children helped to create a lovely farm based role play area and had lots of fun spreading out the hay!

This week in Nursery we have been playing with our chicks! We stroked them and spoke about how they feel, we also had a group discussion on how we can care for them. We helped Mrs Mank clean their cage and we’ve been helping Mr Robinson feed them! Within mathematics we have been looking at the concept 1 less. We read the story 10 Chirpy Chicks and now know that when an object is taken away the amount gets smaller.
